Fun Facts:

As a child of Cape Cod, I spent my summers less at the beach and more at the baseball diamonds. I spent ages 9-12 as a batboy for the Hyannis team in the Cape Cod Baseball League, watching dozens of college baseball players ply their talents on their way to the major leagues. (I won't feel "old" until the last player from my time on the Cape retires from MLB!) I then worked for the next 11 years as a press box denizen, handling everything from official scoring and occasional public address duties to the team's website updates and league-wide publication editing.
