Fun Facts:

• I love being outdoors or in the workshop. 

• Autumn is my favorite season, and I would be perfectly happy skipping directly from spring to fall every year.

• When it comes to movies, books, and television, I almost always choose science fiction, thrillers, or horror.   

• I’m a baseball fan, but I want to see more small ball and fewer home runs.

If I weren’t a lawyer, I would be…

I like to imagine that if I weren’t a lawyer, I’d be some sort of scientist or engineer. (In those daydreams, I work for NASA or invent something that improves our quality of life or deepens our understanding of the universe). That said, I’d also like to give it a go as a woodworker (making furniture, serveware, cutting boards, etc.).

What’s your favorite app?

 Any weather app. That’s a no-brainer. I love maps and weather. Watching weather radar checks both boxes for me.

 What’s the most unusual thing in your office?

 Until recently, I had a 20-gallon fish tank in my office (mostly neon tetras, tiger barbs, ghost shrimp, and mystery snails … nothing serious), but I find “aquascaping” to be a relaxing and enjoyable hobby.

Advising founders and management teams and helping them execute on their strategies is something that I’m proud to be able to do, especially when they’re focused on expanding the market for their products and services or meeting the unmet needs of their customers. I enjoy helping clients navigate difficult decisions and complex legal issues and being a trusted partner in helping them achieve their goals. My role ranges from negotiating a financing to driving a deal from start to finish to providing guidance on board matters or just assisting with routine corporate matters. I’ve worked closely with a number of emerging life sciences and medical device companies, and I also advise technology companies, including robotics and software businesses.
